Feasts Of The Lord
Understanding The Feasts.
The feasts of the Lord are special appointments that God makes with his children. You will also see and hear them named "festivals", even "moedim".
There are spring feasts and fall feasts. The Israelites of the Bible were very familiar with these alone times with God. In scripture, it is found that the nations would participate in learning about these special alone times, "feasts of the LORD", also. For example, Ruth, the Moabitess, a woman from the nations chose to leave her country and follow after a Hebrew, Naomi into the Promised Land. Ruth would have learned about all of the feasts and she would have shared her knowledge with her children, and they would have shared this lifestyle eventually with their children, generation, after generation until even our own Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah was born and He participated in the "Feasts of the Lord".

There is a prophetical feast, the Feast of Tabernacles, or also known as "Feast of Booths" that describes the sin of Egypt, a nation, separate from Israel for not participating in this festival, therefore from this inference, many Christians want to begin celebrating feasts early before the end times.
"Some of the people who came to fight Jerusalem will survive. And every year they will come to worship the king, the Lord All-Powerful. They will come to celebrate the Festival of Shelters. And if people from any of the families on earth don’t go to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord All-Powerful, no rain will fall on their land." Zechariah 14:16-17.
In addition to the Feasts of Tabernacles, you may want to learn about Passover, Pentecost and even Hanukkah. You may read about the feasts of the Lord from Leviticus 23.
